365 (Week 4)

Week four already, here's to another week in the life of us...

Day 20- 1/20/2009 Our new president...New beginnings, new times..



Day 21- 1/21/2009 Nothing makes me more happy than hugs and kisses from my kiddies..



Day 22- 1/22/2009 Craisins.. Who knew these little treats were so tasty? Love these things.. :)



Day 23- 1/23/2009 Wii fit = Mii Fat... :) We have all enjoyed this thing. It is quite a workout, but fun at the same time.. ;)



Day 24- 1/24/2009 Everyone at our house seems to have major issues putting their shoes away; but not anymore... Our very own Bob the Builder has built us a shoe rack that TOTALLY rocks... No more shoe issues at our house... Thanks honey, love it... :)



Day 25- 1/25/2009 My Colie Wolie... Need I say more?



Day 26- 1/26/2009 Cole went out to help Troy shovel and was playing in the snow and had no idea until now (OK I am a bad mom) that if you rolled a ball of snow in snow you get a bigger snowball... He was fascinated.. ;) So Troy helped him make this teeny tiny snowman.. He was so proud of it he must have showed it to me 10 times.. Too cute..

So Cute...

Have to share a something so sweet that happened to me today... My five year old and I were playing a game, when he paused for a second looked up at me and said..."Mom, you really are smarter than a fifth grader..." It was the best, it totally made my whole day. The fact that he thinks I am so smart, is just awesome...(SMILES) It was so sincere and heart felt too... This is the child that when I am at my wits end with him and ready to wring his cute little neck says something like this, and totally melts my heart... Man I love that kid... :)

365 (Week 3)

Is anyone just bored to tears with my pictures yet?? I hope not.. :) Here we are already done with week 3, Holy Crap where did that week go? Since Troy was gone for half of it, its all kind of a blur to me.. (Kinda happens when stress and chaos takes over).. :) Here is my week three...

Day 13- 1/13/2009 I belong to this card group with an amazing group of ladies, and every other month we get together and exchange cards, visit, laugh and of course eat... Tonight was our card group and of course so much fun.. Here are the darling cards we got tonight.



Day 14- 1/14/2009 Made some chocolate chip cookies for Troy to take on his trip, minus the chips for him.. :)



Day 15- 1/15/2009 Troy has been trying to convert all of our home videos to DVDs and in the process we have been watching all of them.. Its so much fun to watch them but makes me somewhat sad, they were so little and so sweet and they seem so grown up now.. Love catching a glimpse into the past..



Day 16- 1/16/2009 After the day I had this speaks for itself.. :)



Day 17- 1/17/2009 Stockton had a basketball game today, got a glimpse of him in action (he is in white).. It's so much fun watching them play.



I took the kids to a birthday party and Grizzbee from the Utah Grizzlies showed up, the kids had fun playing with him.. :)



Day 18- 1/18/2009 This is one piece of technology I have come to love, my cell phone.. I have become quite fond of texting (OK I am addicted :).. It's a great way to talk to friends, family and easier to talk to Troy at his job... Just love it!!!



Day 19- 1/19/2009 Tonight my mom and I took Courtnee to see Mall Cop and out to dinner.. It was so much fun and something we don't get to do very much.. Loved hanging with them.. Fun times :)

365 (Week 2)

Wow I actually made it through week 2.. WOO HOO!!! Nothing extreme, but for sure some fun things!!!

Day 6- 1/6/2009 After a long day my sweet hubby comes home with these for me, he is the BEST!!! Thanks honey you made my day...


Casey came over and we had dinner, and then I helped her burn (some) Cd's for primary.. Notice the tiny stack we had done, and the huge one left.. Fun night of burning Cd's, and watching Biggest Loser.. :)



Day 7- 1/7/2009 Could they get any sweeter?? (probably not, they are sleeping you know..;)



Day 8- 1/8/2009 These are my most favorite cherry chocolates in the world... Thank goodness these "evil" chocolates are gone... :) LOVE THEM!!!



Day 9- 1/9/2009 Troy and I took Courtnee to dinner and then to see Body Worlds.. It was the last weekend it was in town, and despite all of the people, it was truly amazing... Totally mind blowing, and very interesting.. It was a fun night to just spend with her.

Day 10- 1/10/2009 Tonight we went to our friends house and had dinner and played some games.. The kids were playing NBA 09, not sure the girls had fun playing it but the boys sure did.. Good times.. :)



Day 11- 1/11/2009 Don't know who is more tired in this picture Jaden or me.. He was sure being silly and pulling some cheesers faces..



Day 12- 1/12/2009 Don't these boys look so handsome on their way to the Jazz game?? :)

Loves his Grandma...

No words can really capture the love a little boy has for his grandma, like a picture can... Just happy I had the camera at arms length to capture this sweet moment.. (PS. I sure love her too)

Losing it...

Ever feel like your losing your mind? Well I think I have done lost mine. Better yet ever buy something, and know for a fact you bought it, but for the life of you cannot find it? AGH.. Well today the movie I knew I bought for Christmas but could never find, showed up.. And with it were some stamps my BF bought me for my birthday that I have dumped my house upside down to find... The funny thing is they were both within inches of me for months... DOUBLE AGH... Last week I bought some lighters for the fireplace downstairs, went to get them to build a fire, guess what?? GONE... They will surely show up months from now I am certain... I should just take pictures of where I put things I buy, and then it would never get lost.. :)

365 (Week One)

Here are my first week of pics from my 365 days of photos.. (ok its not actually a week, but since I am going to update on Mondays, it works.)

Day 1- (1/1/2009) I pulled all of my scrapbooking stuff out and am trying to get more caught up (he he I can dream right?).. It will be fun updating the kids' books and my family one too. I am really excited about doing this, using up my stuff and getting more on top of things.. :)



Day 2-(1/2/2009) Today was the BIG Ute game, so of course I had to take a pic of Stock sporting his Ute hoodie. GO UTES!!!



Day 3-(1/3/2009) Today I have 2 pictures to post, that were awesome.. My AMAZING mom has made everyone quilts for Christmas (all the kids & grandkids) and today mine was delivered.. I absolutely LOVE it, it is so warm, soft, bright, fun and well just happy... I can't even begin to tell you what this blanket means to me.. For Troy it means he now gets his Utes one back... YEAH, :) Thanks mom I love love love it!!!!!



We went out to Nancy's house for dinner and Jaden was so darn ornery, so Nancy got him the heating pad for his tummy.. Made him feel better.. He really wasn't even sick, just needing some TLC from his Aunt Nancy...



Day 4-(1/4/2009) Had to take a picture of the pantry after many hours of organizing this weekend... Thanks honey for helping... :) Good thing I got a picture because I am certain it won't stay this way, well until next time we organize anyways...



Day 5-(1/5/2009) I told Jaden it was time to go get Cole, a minute later he came in with his boots on.. Made my whole day..

Happy 2009!!

What a FANTASTIC way to start off my new year with my 100th post... YEAH!!! So happy (smiles)... Wasn't really sure how the blog would go when I first started it, but I have come to love it.. Even if nobody ever reads it, I love it and someday hope my kids will love it too. Ok onto my post...

WOW what a great year this last year was...

I am not sure how well I did on my goals for 2008, but will continue to work on them and strive for some new ones in 2009. Here goes...
1- The 365 day challenge... My friend Camie challenged me to do this and so I will sure try (anyone else up for it?).. Simply take a photo every day, and blog about it (for me I will try to blog about it once a week). This is really going to be a CHALLENGE for me, I mean come on my life is not the least bit interesting, so indeed a challenge... Who knows, my pics may end up being 6 months of diet coke.. :)
2- Time, definitely want to manage mine better..
3- To use up a ton of my scrapbooking stuff, :) this will be fun.
4- Be a better person all around..
5- Become more fit... :)
6- Find more PATIENCE.. :) any ideas where one might find more of this?
7- Still working on becoming more in tune with my spiritual side, I feel like this is something I will always strive to be better at. :)
8- More dates with my hubby.. I think we may have had 5 dates all of last year.. AGH, This is definitely going to change... :)
