Vacation...

Its great to be home after a week long vacation to HOT southern Utah. We started out in St. George, so much fun, and ended up in Blanding Utah, seeing everything in between. We got to see things we have never seen before like St. George (other than driving through), Zion's National Park, Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam and the all the tiny towns in between. One day we zipped over to Las Vegas, and with 4 children and 118 degree temps it was interesting. I have to say the best part of that day was the cheesecake Troy bought me from the Cheesecake Factory. :) The kids enjoyed M&M factory, and Jaden liked the coke in the Coca Cola factory. The kids were troopers for spending so much time in the car, thank goodness for portable dvd players.
Time in Blanding and Monticello was spent with family we don't see often enough. It was a great time, very kicked back and fun. Troy and Stockton enjoyed going shooting with his uncle, walking and all. It is fun for me to get to know his family better every year, and learn more about the times he spent down there growing up. We did many mountain picnics, family hangouts and walks down memory lane. The mountains are so beautiful down there, and the seeing all the wildlife is just amazing. We look forward every July to our time down there, it is always so much fun. Thanks for the great time family :)

Life's little blessings...

I am reminded every single day how sweet (or not so sweet some days, he he he) children are, and right before my very eyes they grow up. I am truly grateful for my children. Some days life gets the best of me, and I take that for granted. Then I see these sweet little faces and it puts everything back in perspective for me, and I realize how blessed I really am!
Lucky me :)

Fun Filled 4th of July!

Well I finally broke down and decided to try the blog thing out. Thanks Casey and Kris and Joey and Ashley for the inspiration. I truly enjoy reading everyones blogs so maybe mine will be enjoyed too. :)

The 4th of July was so much fun this year. We started the day out at Raging Waters, what a great way to start the day. We swam, played and had a great time. The kids really enjoyed having their cousins there. Nancy and Levi were awesome to take the bigger kids down the bigger slides, and my mom kept Cole happy in the kiddie pool. Poor little Jaden didn't feel that great, but still managed to give me a smile after a long hot day. After a long day in the hot sun and the water, we went to a Bee's Game and fireworks afterwards. This was so awesome. I don't think I have ever been so close to fireworks, the best seats ever. It was so fun. Thanks Nancy for the invite. A great day with family and friends, and lots of fun memories.
