Road Trip...

We took a fast trip to Idaho this past weekend.. Had so much fun with our family! Some of the highlights...

-Surprised my Aunt on her birthday with lunch and a cake.
-Went to Shoshone Falls, completely breathtaking.
-Had a barbecue with the fam!
-Shared many laughs
-Went to see the City of Rocks..
-Took A LOT of scenic routes, :)

What an awesome time we had, thanks to EVERYONE there for making it a trip to remember!

365 (Week 17)

Tried to do a few fun things with the kiddos while they were off...

Day 111 - 4/21/2009 Came home to find this YUMMY treat (indoor smores, with Golden Grahams) on my front porch, big hugs to my best friend.. Thanks, I loved it and practically ate it all myself!!! :)

Day 115 - 4/25/2009 Took a quick trip to Idaho, and my cousins took us to see these water falls.. Seriously took my breath away they were so pretty.. I have never seen anything like it in my life.. :)


Day 116 - 4/26/2009 Before we left Idaho we went to this place called City of Rocks.. So cool. This was my favorite picture from there. Looks like they are standing by a giant foot print.. :)

365 (Week 16)

Day 104 - 4/14/2009 Casey & I made this book for a friend of ours whose daughter is going through the treatments for Leukemia.. She was able to "Make a Wish" and is going to Disney world.. We thought this would be the perfect sendoff gift for her "Make a Wish" party.. :)

Day 105 - 4/15/2009 Someones been drinking his protein.. ;) Gotta love this kid..

Day 106 - 4/16/2009 After almost a whole year of trials with Cole and learning, he brought home this note from his teacher.. Totally made my whole day.. :)

Day 107 - 4/17/2009 Today I was a total slacker and didn't take one picture.. :(

Day 108 - 4/18/2009 Today I went to a very special party.. Wishes really do come true.. :)

Day 109 - 4/19/2009 Today I spent all day (and night) holding a sick baby.. No picture today either... Major slacker this week..

Day 110 - 4/20/2009 So happy my sister takes care of me whenever I go to the Dr... :)

Took Court to see a movie, she was playing the dance dance game after.

Birthday Wishes...

Just wanted to wish my brother in law Tim a Happy "Tax day" birthday!!! A few of our faves about him...

- He works hard to provide for his family..

- He is a cute dad to his kids.

- Has a fun, teasing personality.

- He is a really nice guy..

- He is really computer smart, wish I had this skill. :)

Easter...

Jaden was not sure about dying the eggs.. He thought it was "wutty" (yucky)..

This child has more excitement over dying eggs than any child I have ever seen.. He was on cloud nine... Takes so little to make him happy!!! :)

He finally got the hang of it and decided it was OK.. :)

365 (Week 15)

Day 97 - 4/7/2009 Cole is one of my early to bed kids, I have 2, and 2 who like to see what midnight is... Well when I went into the family room to check on him, I found him sacked out using Stocks backpack for a pillow. ;)

Day 98 - 4/8/2009 Getting the first coats of paint on the bedroom.. THANKS sweetie for painting and doing such an amazing job. Love all of it!!!

Day 99 - 4/9/2009 Sweetness...

Day 100 - 4/10/2009 Cole and his Grandma playing baseball in the backyard... He has been obsessed with the movie the Sandlot lately, so I think this plays a part in his obsession with baseball... He really does have his Grandma wrapped pretty darn tight around his finger.. :)

Day 101 - 4/11/2009 Caught in the act... Little turkey not only marked up his legs pretty good but also got my newly painted wall.. AGH!!! Thank goodness for Magic Erasers!!!

Day 102 - 4/12/2009 Happy Easter!!! A good looking bunch if I do say so.. :)

Day 103 - 4/13/2009 Jaden is devouring a piece of chocolate cake his grandma made, with homemade German chocolate icing.. YUMMY!!!

Exhaustion..

That pretty much sums up how I feel after 2 weeks of home improvements... I am glad to be done and to have my house almost back to normal... We painted, we emptied 4 rooms into one, we ripped up carpet, pads, and staples, we loaded furniture back into 4 rooms and after all of that collapsed from being so pooped... :) I am however very happy with the end result... :) We ended up painting and carpeting Cole's room, hallway, living room, Jaden's room (only carpet) and my room... I was so happy I had a little bit of help while Troy had to work so much. Thanks Family!!! Here are a few pics from my room, and my tired help, I already posted some of Cole's..

365 (Week 14)

One more week gone.... This weekend was so busy!!! Troy and I have been talking about getting carpet for some time now, but have both said that if we were going to get carpet we wanted to paint first.... That being said, Friday we both got this "wild hair" to go look at carpet and buy some paint... We painted and painted and painted (and yes did so with 4 children running amuck)... And we still have more painting to do before we get carpet next week. A few pics of our fun time painting... Will post more later...Here is to another week of our lives...

Day 92 - 4/2/2009 I know I have said it before but this kids LOVES peanut butter.. I was in the bathroom drying my hair and came out to find him on my bed devouring his jar of peanut butter... He really is his father's son!!!

Day 94 - 4/4/2009 What a bunch of cutie patooties...


Had to post 2 pics from this day.. This one has quite a story.. So Saturday night Troy and I were still up painting around midnight... We were doing the hallway, painting, talking, painting.... He was on the ladder doing the high stuff, I was on the floor doing the low stuff... I saw the tray of paint under him and right as I went to say "don't step down," he stepped down... Paint went everywhere.... I was laughing so hard, and of course made him stand there while I grabbed the camera.... He just kinda stood there for like 5 minutes just shaking his head... Probably thinking "Oh craP"..... He had been so worried that one of the kids would do that while we were painting, maybe kinda shocked it was him who did it... His shoes were new, so he had to hurry and wash them... The hallway we just had to cut the carpet out where the paint was.. It was way too much to clean up... I, of course thanked him for giving me the best picture of the day. You know I love you honey!!!!

Day 95 - 4/5/2009 Jaden posing.. He's got some kind of Star Wars get up going on here...

Day 96 - 4/6/2009 This is Cole's room, we painted it chocolate brown and sage green.. Loved the way it turned out... :)
