Gratitude...

Thought I would sit down and put down some things I am thankful for... Have been struggling with some hard feelings towards certain people and hoping this will help make me feel better... So here goes...

I am thankful for...

A.. Andy, I miss my brother so much, I wish we lived closer.. It was just him and I for a long time growing up and I love that bond that we still share.. :)
B.. Basketball, love the passion my boys have for this sport. Nothing better than watching Stockton play his heart out.. Loves..
C.. Children, I am so grateful for my 4 children. They are my life, my loves.. My life is so full with them in it...
D.. Diet Coke, cheesy yes maybe, but really very thankful for it... Keeps me sane (well somewhat) most days..
E.. Email, love keeping in touch with family and friends we don't see near enough.
F.. Friends, I have to say I have the best friends around. I am truly blessed and so thankful for each one of them.. :)
G.. Grandparents, from mine and Troys, to our kids grandparents.. Love them all..
H.. Home, I love my home and everyone who enters it... Thankful that I have a wonderful home, thanks honey for building us this amazing house.. :)
I.. I-tunes, love cranking the music up, singing and dancing with the kiddos.. Amazing how music can really make life fun..
J.. Jobs, So happy that my honey has an amazing job and that he works so hard to provide of us.. :)
K.. Kisses, whether from Troy, my kiddos or my sweet little nephew, I treasure them..
L.. Laughter, it really is the best medicine... Love everyone in my life who makes me laugh.. Truly makes my days better..
M.. My Mom, she is truly one amazing woman. I love her more than she will ever know.. She does so much for her kids and grandkids.. My kids are truly blessed to have her as their grandma, as I am to have her as my mom and my friend.. :)
N.. Nancy, not just my sister but one of my best friends.. I love her kindness and her amazing love for me and my kiddos.. :)
O.. Opportunities, love the new ones, the crazy ones, the not so good ones, the happy ones, the good ones and the day to day ones..
P.. Pictures, a big part of my life, thankful for the technology that we now have to take and print pictures... Completely priceless..
Q.. Quiet, I love my kids more than life itself, but there are times when quiet is like an angel in my life.. :)
R.. Reading, love to read, even more when I have time... Love reading to my kids and have them read to me.. :)
S.. Sisters, I love them both so very much, they are two of my best friends.. :)
T.. Troy, he completes me.. :)
U.. Underwear, nothing like a new clean pair of underwear to make life good.
V.. VaNIElla Cupcakes, simply blissful... Ahhh :)
W.. Whitney, Love her passion for life. She is such a great sister, friend, aunt and daughter.. :)
X.. X-tra Ordinary People, my life is so full of them, who will go out of there way for me and my family... Love them....
Y.. Yellow Daisies, make me smile, love the beauties of nature..
Z.. Zippers, they do make life easier.. :)

Well I feel extremely blessed and that my life is very full.. Thanks to everyone in my life who makes it complete.. I love you all..

My Jadey Bug...

I can hardly believe that my "baby" is turning four today... (sniff sniff) He is such a little character, but he brings so much fun and laughter to our family... My faves about my little guy...

J is for... Jokster... Always making one of us laugh... Today he told me that he killed General Grievous (Star Wars) and that he was dead because his heart was broken.. Love that no matter what and no matter when he can make me laugh.. :)
A is for... Animated... This kid is like the energizer bunny, just keeps going and going... :) Love all his energy..
D is for... Dazzling... He is such a cute kid, melts my heart... :)
E is for... Entertaining... Never a dull moment with this kiddo... From his funny little sayings, his magic belly rolls, to his cute little eye rolls, he is always making us laugh..
N is for... Nimble... This kid amazes me with his intelligence level... I have no idea how he got so dang smart (I am sure from his Daddy)... :) Love it...

Happy Birthday little guy... I love this kid so much, he just makes our family complete.. :)

Simply Slacking...

I guess that would be the best way to describe my blogging lately... I just can't seem to put down my bon bons and move my behind from the couch long enough to do anything.. I am the epitome of lazy... I mean my schedule is 100% empty... As much free time as I have I should be posting at least once a day maybe twice... :) Not sure what my "issues" have been lately but there have definitely been some... So here are some random things that have been going on at our house the past few weeks, besides Miss Courtnee's birthday.. :)

Stockton's championship game.. They were undefeated all year.. 1st place baby... I love watching this kid play basketball... Taking a quick few day break then it's back to insanity basketball.. He is going to be doing 2 different teams this winter.. Whew, can't wait.. :)

Birthday Pictures...

So for Miss Courtnee's birthday, we (meaning her amazing daddy) blew up 210 balloons for her... Covered our entire living room... Hung banners and decorations for her when she got home from school... She just loved it.. So did my boys, I think I will be doing this for theirs as well... Got some really cute pics of her and her friends in the balloons... Glad she had a great day!!

She got 2 dance games for the Wii... Boy did those girls have fun dancing.. :)

When the girls went downstairs, we took all the balloons and filled the stair way clear to the top, so when they came out they were swallowed by balloons.. Of course they loved it.. :)

They sat in the hot tub, and while they were out there, my brother in law got Stockton's scary clown Halloween mask, jumped the fence and scared those poor cute girls... Sorry if any of the neighbors thought we were torturing girls here... We weren't... :) Then they danced and danced... Fun times.. Makes me remember all of the crazy times I had at my 14 year old sleepovers... She at least didn't sneak and walk to the nearest grocery store, and go on a toilet papering binge like someone I know once did... (wink, Kris) Good times...

Curnee Gunderbutt....

A little bit about her nickname... Curnee is what she used to call herself when she was little, and watching old videos it was so stinking cute to hear her say it, just kinda stuck... Gunderbutt, my brother has called her that from the first day he saw her, again it kinda stuck... Today my sweet girl is turning 14 (gasp, can I really have a child that old?) I would just like to tell her Happy Birthday and how much I love her... Here are my most favorite things about Curnee Jane... :D

C is for... Cute... Absolutely adorable in every way, shape and form...
O is for... Ours... I could not be more proud to be her momma... She is such an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, cousin, niece and friend... We are so blessed to have her in our family.. :)
U is for... Urbane... Stylish, in every meaning of the word...
R is for... Responsible... Love that she is so self motivated.. One example; from day one of her starting school she has never had to be told to do school work and it still is that way today... Love that I know I can depend on her for anything, and that she exceeds above and beyond anything she does... :D
T is for... Transmundane... Simply heavenly... Love the spirit that permeates from her..
N is for... Nice... Has the biggest heart, truly kind and loving to everyone...
E is for... Exultant... Always happy... Just radiates happiness from within.. I LOVE this about her... Her smile is so contagious.. :)
E is for... Exemplar... What a great example she is to me and everyone around her..

I love you sweet girl and hope you had a great birthday... :)

Another game...

Another little movie my friend Jen made, of the boys playing basketball... I cannot tell you how much Stockton enjoys watching this.. He loves to watch himself, especially when he makes points.. I really think it is a self esteem builder.. He did really good at this game, scored some baskets and even a 3 pointer... He is number 12 with the headband.. :) Thanks Jen for your amazing talent... :D

A little boy...

And his dog, (OK well not really his dog, but his grandmas dog) is one of the cutest pictures I have taken lately... I have never EVER seen one of my kids take to a pet of any kind.. Couldn't be because their mom or dad have never even given the idea of having a pet a second thought, wink!!! But when my mom got her dog, Littlefoot, Jade was just a baby... So he has grown up around her... This kid loves this dog more than anything... He will let her lick him, (he calls it kisses,) he shares his food with her (yes even his suckers) and he even tries to hold her like a baby.... She has never bitten him, and secretly I think she loves all the Jaden attention... Littlefoot will probably, OK not probably, for sure be the closest thing my kids will ever have to a pet... :) I know I am such a meanie mom... I told them when they are living on their own, they may have ALL the pets they want, as for now unless it's stuffed (as in stuffed animal) it's not coming to our house... But this picture does make my heart skip a tiny beat... :)
