Pine Wood Derby

 

8-22-2012 - That time of year again. Cole wanted to do a Semi truck this year.. Although he didn't win the overall race, he won a few heats and had lots of fun. Here are a few pics from the night.

 

 

Arrow of Light

So proud of all of the hard work and determination Stock put into getting this award... Not only him but his amazing leaders, without them and their support & dedication, he wouldn't have gotten it... It was really an amazing experience, and a little sad that he will not be in Cub Scouts anymore.. I guess no more pack meetings until Cole is 8... Just a few pictures from the night. :)

This was the arrow before the lighting ceremony... An arrow for each boy and their new neckerchief.. :)


The lighting of the Arrow.. This was really neat, each boy got to light a few of the tips. Stockton is actually behind it, lighting one but it is hard to see him.

This was a special patch that he earned, it was for all 20 pins in Webelos... Hard to do, but with his dad's help he got it.. :)

This was a bridge they had the boys cross over, signifying their crossing over to older scouts from the younger ones. pretty cool.. :)
