Little Bruiser...

Thought I would share our latest war wound, kinda looks like makeup but unfortunately its not.. Just another day in the life with boys... This particular boy loves to climb on anything he can and has absolutely NO fear of anything.. Although this time he wasn't actually climbing, but standing on a bar stool, slipped and fell, hitting his eye on another bar stool before hitting the tile floor.. I hope this is not going to be a pattern for him.. This will be his 2nd black eye in a month.. Little turkey..

The day Courtnee has been waiting for has finally came.. After 2 1/2 years, month after month of dentist appointments, and thousands of dollars... The braces are FINALLY coming off.. She has an appointment Thursday to get them off. YEAH!!!! Hopefully we are done with braces for a few years. Stay tuned for pics of her even more gorgeous smile.. :)

Lava Hot Springs

We took the kids for a little getaway this weekend to Lava Hot Springs... The pools range from 104 degrees to 112, and 112 is DANG HOT!!!!! It was so much fun, so relaxing and much needed.. We stayed at a favorite spot, not too far away, that Troy has been going to since he was a kid.. :) Some of our friends came up a day later to chill with us.. :) It was a nice weekend, I think the kids were completely swam out, from swimming in the springs and then back at the hotel, they were spent. Here are a few of my favorite pics..

Kinda weird seeing them in their bathing suits in the snow, huh? They were trying to cool off by playing in the snow.. Crazy it was like 20 degrees this day and they are running out in the snow in their swimming suits.. :)

Day 43 - 2/12/2009 I saw this shirt and my kids thought it was so funny, we just had to buy it.. Can't go wrong for 3.00 right.. Although Troy wasn't too keen on wearing it, he did put it on for a picture.. Maybe it will become his new favorite shirt (wink)..:)


Day 44 - 2/13/2009 If you are ever near a Nothing Bundt Cake store, stop and get you one of these little bundlettes.. They are to die for... My sweet friend brought me one of these, and totally made my day!!!

He Shoots, He Scores, He Wins...

Today was the last game for Basketball, this season anyways.. I cannot believe how much my son has come to love (obsess over, really) this sport... :) Just had to post a few pics from the final game. What a way to end the season too, they were down by 1 with 12 seconds left, Stockton shoots a 3 pointer and it was nothing but net, cinching the win for his team.. Pretty awesome way to end a season!!!

Valentines Day

Pretty low key day for us this year... I did buy the kids and Troy one of these heavenly fruit bouquets.. Yummy.. My fave on the whole thing were the chocolate dipped bananas.. I think they ate every piece of fruit in less than an hour.. (Notice how happy Cole is for some strawberries) :) I guess its better than candy right?

Cuteness of Cole

I was sitting at my desk a few days ago while Jaden was sleeping, and Cole came in and said...

Cole- Mom, I need your camera
Me- Why? Honey
Cole- Mom I just do, can I use it for a minute?
Me- Yes, just be very careful with it.
Cole- OK

About 10 minutes pass, and I am wondering what on earth he is doing, when he brings it back and says..

Cole- OK mom I am done.
Me- OK what did you take a picture of?
Cole- Do you want to see?
Me- Of course I do!!!
Cole- (as I am looking at them) Do you love them, Mom?
Me- Yes, Cole I love them...
Cole- Well, Mom aren't you going to put them on the puter??
Me- (chuckles) Yes sweetie I will put them on there right now...

I think it is too funny what a kids interpretation is, of the things they see us do... It was really so cute, and totally made my whole day... I sure love that kid... :) So here are only a few of the many many pics he took... He was so proud of his nascars..

Meeting your Idle (well sortof)

Stockton was lucky enough to go downtown (with hundreds of other kids) and meet his idle "D Will"(Deron Williams).... OK he didn't actually meet him as in "hi I'm Stockton" meet him, but for us it was as close as he will ever get to "meet" him so we will just call it that... :) He was so darn excited... His friend actually got to go head to head with D Will and dribble with him.. Nothing is better than a week long permagrin... Love my little basketball star and his passion for the game.. :)

365 (week 5)

Day 27- 1/27/2009 Jaden setting up his farm bowling.. He is so stinking cute to watch bowl.. He gets so excited when he knocks them all down.



Day 28- 1/28/2009 This is my scrapbooking paper.. I love paper especially good thick textured card stock.. I got this after Christmas on a steal of a sale.. Love it!!



Day 29- 1/29/2009 Courtnee just loves taking piano lessons, every week she goes, and never complains.. I love to sit in our piano room and just listen to her play. So relaxing to me..



Day 30- 1/30/2009 We took the kids to eat pizza and they wanted to ice skate after. Troy was helping them "skate" on the ice.. They had so much fun, next time we will have to get some actual ice skates.. :)





Day 31- 1/31/2009 This is one of the projects I worked on at my all day scrapbooking marathon..



Day 32- 2/1/2009 The boys were downstairs with Troy and his dad watching the Superbowl, Troy came upstairs for a minute and no boys.. So he went down and checked on them and this is what he found.. So adorable... :)



Day 33- 2/2/2009 My little Superstar!!!
