365 (Week 49)

Wow I can hardly believe that it has been almost a whole year since I started this challenge... WHEW!!!

Day 335 - 12/1/2009 Putting up our tree... Shocking I know, again my kids and husband are trying to find my Christmas spirit, (However I would say I have a little bit of spirit if I am letting them put up the tree on the 1st..)



Day 336 - 12/2/2009 Tried In and Out Burger, he was being a goof with the hat.. :)


Day 337 - 12/3/2009 Casey and I went to this KILLER sale at American Crafts, and I got hooked up.. I didn't even get a picture of everything I got... Thanks C for inviting me.. :)

We really had a great Thanksgiving this year.. I was lucky enough to be able to spend it with Troy's family and mine... =) We hosted this year, and it was just the best.. Here are a few pics from the day...

Pay it Forward (part 3)

I am finally finished with my pay it forwards(I know it took me long enough right).. This was my last one to do and it was for my mom.. I know my mom absolutely loves her pictures, and I had made her some frames several years ago for them.. But over time, and moving and more kids being added to the family, they just didn't match and were falling apart.. I knew that I wanted to make her some new frames.. That were simple but cute... I wanted them all to match and be personalized at the same time.... I took some black frames and sanded down all the edges, got those adorable big white letters and antiqued the edges and added ribbon to them.. I was so happy with the way they turned out... I just love the fact that she loves pictures just as much as I do... :) Maybe that's where I get it from... I always say you can never put a price on a picture. :) I love you Mom and I hope you enjoy these frames as much as I enjoyed making them for you!! I am so grateful to you for showing how important it is to capture memories that will last a lifetime.. Thank you.. You are truly an inspiration to me...

Just Stuff...

My blogging has been slacking lately, and it's not because I have nothing to blog, it's just taking the time and doing it... So here goes, a few odds and ends... I either have three of the most talented kids on the planet or they have the most un-talented mom on the planet.. At dinner one night they were showing off their "skills"... Crazy that one of them can do it, but 3 out of the 4 kids can do it.. Anywhoo as if anyone really cares right... Funny to me though.. :)




On a different note... I am still baffled at the fact that we have less than a month and Christmas will be here.. Where does the time go and where is my pause button on life? I am really trying to wrap my brain around the holidays and it's just not working.. My kids, my husband, my family have all told me I have no Christmas spirit.. Anyone know where I can go to buy some, or have any advice on how I can obtain some.. I don't want to be the Grinch.. I guess I just want Christmas to be what it should be, about Christ.. about being with family... about helping those less fortunate than me... And it doesn't feel like that to me anymore, it is so materialized, so centered around the all mighty dollar, and I hate that... :( Need some good advice right about now... Anyone??

On a lighter/funnier note I had the kids make their lists for Santa... Stockton made his and about 3 things down he listed "stuff," I asked him what that was and he said I don't know I just couldn't think of anything else... So if you know where Santa can find some "stuff," that would be of great help too... =) Out of the mouths of babes...

Jaden Willy...

Gasp, I cannot believe where the last 3 years have gone.. My baby is no longer a baby anymore but this curious little toddler..... He has brought so much joy and happiness into our family.. He is pretty mellow most of the time (until his brothers get him going)... He has the sweetest little personality too.. I love it when he just comes up and puts his little arms around me and gives me a kiss and says "I love you mommy".. Makes my day... Happy Birthday little guy... We love you so much.. Here are just a few pics over the years.. :)

365 (Week 47)

Day 321 - 11/17/2009 Tonight was Courtnee's Young Women in Excellence... She looked so beautiful.. The theme was the Oscars.. It was so completely amazingly decorated...


She felt like a princess...


Day 322 - 11/18/2009 The boys went off track this week and Stock has been begging to go to Kneaders.. So I broke down and took him there, and we got our favorite... Turkey sandwich.. :)


Day 323 - 11/19/2009 The night we went to New Moon... :) Crazy, insane but totally fun.. Thanks Tif for inviting me.. :)


Day 324 - 11/20/2009 Jade in his new Buzz pajamas... He obviously didn't want his picture taken..


Day 325 - 11/21/2009 This is our cute little neighbor girl and Jade at the basketball game.. Too cute.. (Notice his Spiderman slippers, he refused to wear shoes, and sometimes it's just not worth the fight :)
