D... Darling... What a cute little guy he is..
Y... You... Are so loved and adored by everyone..
L... Lovable... That smile of his just melts your heart! =)
A... Animated... Always so happy, and full of life..
N... Number One... In more than one way, yes he is turning one, but is also number one with Mommy... I have never seen a baby adore their Mommy like he does.. It's so cute, when she has him and you try to talk to him, he does this little fake cry.. So cute.. :) Love it!!!

Happy Birthday little guy.. Hope you have a great day.. Love you!!

Blog book....

I finally decided to do it.. To make my blog into a book.. I have heard about being able to do this for a long time now, but never really checked into it.. I found this awesome website, http://www.blurb.com/, downloaded the program and started to edit... I was a little overwhelmed at first, not because it was hard, but because there were so many things to choose from, fonts, colors, backgrounds etc.... So I began to edit, changing fonts, rearranging pictures, making pictures the right sizes.... When I first started I had chosen the 12x12 book, but decided after about 40 pages into it that I wanted a smaller book... Yeah, you have to start with a new book, no changing sizes once you start, just a little FYI....Three weeks later I was done.. I had put my first 2 years of blogging into a book, a journal per say... I absolutely love my scrapbooks, and love making them, still!!! But the blog for me is more of a journal, a day to day record of our thoughts and sometimes it's the little things that I forget to write down... It turned out to be about 175 pages... I think I did the 8x10 size and with shipping and everything it cost me around $50.00, gotta love the online coupons.. =) I cannot wait to see it and will post pictures as soon as I get it.. Excited to get started on my next book.... =)

Remembering...

I came across these pictures today while cleaning out my emails... They were from a few years ago, when my BF Kriston and her kids came for a visit.. I am amazed how fast the kids grow up and change... Makes me miss them being little. Love these pictures and my visits with Kris too... =)

Introducing...

The newest and last Gunderson boy to become a "big boy.." That's right no more diapers for Jaden.. I knew once he did it one time he would just do it, he is so smart, just stubborn... It was awesome... Day 1, one wet accident... Day 2, one wet accident... Day 3, dry all day... Day 4, dry all day... I was ecstatic about the peeing but when he did the pooping too... Bliss, YEAH!!! No more diapers here, no more babies here... So nice to be moving onto a different phase.. :) Love it!! I tell ya, teaching your kids to read and potty training them have got to be 2 of the most draining, challenging things we as parents do (at least when they are little..) Yeah for Jaden!!! :)

Let's Ride..

This is what happens when you have kids who are so bored because they have "NOTHING" to do, (notice my emphasis on nothing... these kids probably have every toy ever made, how on earth can they get bored,) a baby crib mattress, and an Aunt who tells them of all the "fun" stuff she used to do, when she was left unsupervised... Needless to say they had a blast.. It was pretty dang funny to watch them.. Troy was not impressed, but we stopped them before anyone got hurt, he he he.. :) Jaden did not go, he said it was way too scary, I agree.. I would have never dared do that when I was 7.. :) Too bad the older kids missed out on all the fun!

Love the look on Cole's face, sheer terror/trying to enjoy the ride.. =)

My nephew Dakota.. The no fear kid..

The little neighbor girl.. ;)

Miss Nancy, instigator pants.. =)

Good times.. :) Love ya Nanc!!

Love this guy!!

Just wanted to tell my sweet hubby Happy Birthday today!! A few of my faves about him..

T.. True.. With Troy, what you see is what you get.. A very genuine, sticks to his word guy. Love the fact I always know with him it's from his heart.. :)
R.. Resolute.. Without a doubt, he has to be the hardest working person I know.. Never sitting still for a minute, at home or at work.. Works many, many hours so that I can be home with our kids, love that about him.. Love that he is teaching our children what great work ethics are.. :)
O.. Outstanding... In every way, shape, form of this word... Dad, husband, brother, son, grandson, employee, friend, provider, human being; all outstanding!!! :) You are such an inspiration to everyone!!
Y.. Young.. He may be turning 40 something, but he doesn't act or look a day over 20 something... I marvel at his energy and drive.. After working long hours, he still finds time for me and the kids.. Simply amazing..

I love you so much Troy, and am so blessed to have you for a husband.. You really are my best friend. Thanks for all you do for me and the kids.. I hope you have the best day! :)

Sad...

I guess the saying "A mother is only as happy as her unhappiest child," is so true.. My little Cole has been so dang sad (in regards to school) the past 2 weeks.. I feel like we are back to the first day of school.. He is always the happiest, energetic most vibrant kid, except when it comes to school.. He has called me every day, with something new wrong with him.. Granted on his behalf he did have 2 nasty ear infections and a nasty cough, but I didn't think it was enough to make him like this.. It just breaks my heart every day sending him to the bus with big tears... I wish I could do something for him, to ease his unsettled feelings...I talked to his teacher (who is AMAZING, a true blessing for Cole) tonight at Parent Teacher Conferences, and she said he is doing awesome, he has friends, does well on his school work, listens well... Just sad.. We both agreed that he isn't confident enough with himself in his school work and maybe that's what's making him sad.. Crazy he can call me sobbing, I go get him and by the time I get there he is laughing and smiling.. I decided today when he called me, well when his teacher called me to tell me how sad he was, that I was just going to have to let him figure it out... One of the hardest things I have ever done, broke my heart... Oh I sure hope he can find some happiness at school... Sad kid = Sad Mom.... Hating sad right now!!! Any ideas??
