Totally Sweet...

After what seemed like days of sheer hell, my little Cole put this on my desk tonight.. Totally erased every bad moment in the last month... I love that kid so much... Totally made my month.. :)

Happy Birthday Kyle...

Just a shout out to my brother in law for his birthday.. A few of my favorites about him...

K is for... Kind... Kyle has the biggest heart.. Would do anything for anyone..
Y is for... Young... Kyle is just a big kid... He loves doing anything his boys do, anything that involves water, jokes, well pretty much anything the kiddos love, so does Kyle... Love this about him.. :)
L is for... Laughable... Always fun and laughter when Kyle is around.. Such a great personality.. :)
E is for... Effective... Such a smart guy... Has so much knowledge about so many topics.. Love that he is Mr. Smarty Pants.. :)

Hope you have a great birthday Kyle... Love that you are part of our family... :) Kind of a bittersweet post for me.. Not sure that I am going to continue my birthday posts next year.. Not sure anyone even likes them.. Any input??

Christmas 2010

I have to back up a bit and say that by far one of our favorite gifts we received this year, we got at the beginning of December... Zippy the elf decided to make our home, his... He truly brought the magic to my kids and our house... They had so much fun every morning looking for where Zippy had hid himself, and if he had brought them a little treat from the North Pole... There was one night when they did not get anything from him, but a note telling him how disappointed he was in their behavior and all of the fighting going on... I think it may have worked, slightly... Santa took him home with him, when he came on Christmas Eve.. :) We truly loved Zippy and cannot wait for his return next December 1st....

Now on to Christmas Eve... We had our annual Christmas Eve party here.. Lots of family, amazingly good food, laughter, fun and a little Christmas magic.. Just a few pics of our night..

Christmas Day... The kiddos finally convinced us to get up at 6:00 am... We opened presents and just hung out all day.. My Mom made the yummiest dinner.. Prime Rib, salad, potatoes, jello, apple pie, pumpkin cake and rolls... So delish.. :) Just a few pics of the kids Christmas morning.. :)

10 days...

Just a little recap of our last 10 days...

Had to get a new dishwasher, and Stock was all together to happy to make himself a house.. Silly kiddo..

Started off with a holiday party at the Clark Planetarium to see Santa... Troy was so awesome in taking the boys as Courtnee and I had already signed up to take a class to make Christmas gifts.. :) Just a few pics of the boys with Santa on the Moon..

Making Gingerbread houses... I have to admit this is the first time the kids or I have ever done this.. It was so fun, I think we will make it a new tradition...

12 Days of Christmas... This has been my most favorite part of the month thus far... Teamed up and joined forces with a few other "elves" to make 4 families holiday a little more special.. The kids have loved dropping, knocking and running, without being caught... Kudos to our fellow "elves," who without you, we could have never pulled this off.. :) Someone (very sneaky that is) is also doing our family... The kids and I are loving this!! We did this last year, and it completely made my Christmas spirit glow... Now to be able to do it for more than one family... Amazing, truly amazing... Cannot have a better feeling in the world...

Baby Ryker rolls over.. Little turkey is only 3 months old.. :)

Basketball.. Started up with 2 more leagues of Basketball, and church ball.. Adding in Court doing church ball... I hope we survive the next 2 months... Saturdays game was so awesome.. Just wanted to wish my baby sister a Happy Birthday today.. Things I love about her!

W is for... Witty... Love her personality.. So funny, charming, loving and amazing.. Love that she can always make me laugh.
H is for... Hot... Always admired (maybe a tad jealous) her gorgeousness... She is so pretty and always looks amazing.. From her hair to her makeup to her clothes and shoes... Smokin'....
I is for... Intelligent... Love how smart she is.. :)
T is for... Treasure... I feel like that having her for my sister and for my friend is really a gift... I love her so much for being my sister, and even more for being my friend... :) So blessed to have a gem like her in my life.. :)
N is for... (G)Narly Aunt... She is such a great Auntie to my kids and to my nephews and niece... Will make a great mommy some day.. :)
E is for... Entertaining... Never a dull moment with Whit.. Always making everyone laugh and is always fun to be around... :)
Y is for... Young... Always has just been a kid at heart.. Love this about her, no matter what her age, just has this young at heart attitude.. :)

Miss Artsy Pants...

Courtnee painted, yes painted not drew, this picture in her Art class at school... Her teacher was so impressed.. He told her it was one of the best paintings he had seen, throughout his years as a teacher.. Yeah, go Courtnee... It really is amazing, the picture doesn't really do it justice.. She painted it on a clear plastic piece of paper... That's our little artist.. :) Love it, and love that she is so UBERLY talented...
