Our Week...

Nothing really eventful happening but I thought I would share a few highlights from our week.

After a couple of rough days for me and my sweet husband comes home with these gorgeous flowers, thanks sweetie you made my day...

We had a chance to go watch my 6 year old nephew motocross race, which was just amazing to see all these little 5 and 6 year old kids racing and going off jumps. It was really cool but kinda scary to watch, I don't know if I could ever let one of my boys do that. There were boys and even girls racing, ranging in ages from 5 to 40... He has told us so much about racing, it was neat to actually see him do it, he is just so darn cute.

Nancy & Levi took the kids fishing, although they had no luck with any fish they had a fun time. :)

Wax Museum

The 3rd grade at Stockton's school did a wax museum, and each kid chose someone historical, past or present, to do their project on. After some thought, Stockton chose to do his on Davy Crockett. He did all the reading, research and reporting, and my sweet mom made his costume (she did a fabulous job). It was neat to see all of the different "Wax" figures on display. There was an Abe Lincoln, an Orval Wright (Mack), a Walt Disney, and a few Sacajawea's just to name a few. Just another proud mom moment for me. :)

Party Book

Just wanted to share a book I made of Troy's birthday. (Not really for him, but for me.) I figured you can't have a major birthday party and not be able to remember it forever right? Casey and I both made one of these cool books, she did a friend one (I hope she posts a pic of her dang cute book), and I did a party one (just in case you couldn't tell from the picture). I covered it with paper, embellished it, added a bit of ribbon and of course pictures. What a fun little project. :)

Weekend Highlights

Just a glimpse into our weekend.
-Friday night we took the kids Cosmic bowling, we had a blast. We had never been before so it was cool, a late night for the kids but they didn't seem to mind at all. We laughed and laughed and had an amazing time. Thanks everyone for a fun night.
-Saturday we went to Troy's work for his anual Easter egg hunt. Kids had fun, finding (more like picking up) the eggs. We had my niece for the weekend and it was nice to spend time with her. That night we dyed 5 dozen eggs, Cole was so darn excited to dye the eggs, he actually dyed most of them twice. :)
-Sunday was a nice relaxing day, went to Troy's mom for dinner and yet another egg hunt for the kids. Good food, fun with family & friends, makes for a great weekend. :)

I just love this picture of Jaden and my nephew Kamden. Makes you wonder what they are thinking.

Birthday Bliss...

Just wanted to wish Troy a Happy Birthday today. He says it doesn't feel like he is turning 40 rather more like 20, and I think that's awesome.. Saturday we had a little party for him... We couldn't have asked for a better time, with our families, great friends, 12 feet of sub sandwiches, salads and Schmidt's eclairs.. It was a great time, thanks to everyone there. Thanks sweetie for giving me 14 of the best years ever, and I wish you forty(plus) more years of happiness! I love you, hope you have a great day! Here are a few pictures from Saturday night.

Too Cute...

My friend Kriston found these pictures and sent them to me, they were taken almost 5 years ago.. They were so cute I just had to share. Stockton and Braden (her little boy) look so little, and that picture is just precious. Cole was just a baby, and Courtnee and Whitney just so sweet. Wow how time flies, and man they grow up way too fast.. :) Thanks Kris for sharing..
