Fire Drill...

This was supposed to be in my 365 day post, but I had forgotten about it.. Just a little incident that brought the fire department to my house.. :) My sweet friend snapped this adorable picture of the boys (my son, her son, and a neighbor boy) with the firemen.. Thank goodness everything turned out fine and my kids learned a great lesson on what to do in case there is a fire... :)

Wow March is just filled with Birthdays.. :) My cute little nephew is turning 4 today. Just wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday.. Some cute things about Connor...

- The big words he uses, blows me away sometimes.
- His blonde hair and big eyes.. :)
- He shares Cole's love for trucks..
- Loves to tease his big brother.. he he he, another thing he and Cole have in common.. :)
- He is very smart.
- He is boy number 6 in grand kids, with the total soon to be 9!!! I think we have enough boys to start our own basketball team.. LOVE all those boys!!!
- His personality.. Too cute.. :)
- Loves, loves, loves Dinosaurs!!!

Colie Wolie

I can hardly believe it's been a whole year, since we last celebrated his Birthday... A few of our faves about Cole...

- He is always a ray of sunshine in our home..
- Allergies, eczema and extreme shyness, yet never complains..
- He is definitely a mommy's boy, and I love that!!!
- Loves his Nascars and his Star Wars..
- He is one heck of a cutie patootie.
- So proud of him for all of the obstacles he has overcome the past year.
- He can make you want to pull your hair out one minute and want to kiss him the next..
- He is an awesome listener, does whatever I ask, when I ask..
- Loves to tease (mostly Stockton), little turkey...
- Loves his brothers (most of the time) and adores his sister..
- Loves, loves, loves his strawberries...

We are so blessed to have him in our family, he makes everyday fun in our house. Love you so much Colie Wolie, Happy Birthday buddy!!! :)

Birthday Wishes...

A little birthday shout out to my mother in law, Shirley... A few of my faves about her..

- Her love for her children, love the closeness Troy has with her.
- Her sweet spirit.
- Her kind heart, she would do anything for anyone.
- The cute grandma she is to my kids.
- The holiday parties she makes so fun for everyone, loved the ghoulish dip.. :)
- She is such a hard worker and never complains.
- Always sees the good in people, never talks bad about anyone!!! Love this about her..
- Love it that she still makes cookies for Troy, (someday maybe I will be able to make her amazing snicker doodles. :)
- Our summer trips to Blanding, love this time we get to share with them!
- Her easy going temperament, love that Troy got this from her.. :)
- Love her for accepting me and my family and always make us feel welcome!!!

365 (Weeks 8 & 9)

I have been a major slacker on my pictures (not so much taking them, but posting them)... I hope they are still enjoyed... Here are my last few weeks of pics, (I really do take pictures of things other than Jaden:) Kind of a long post...

Day 48 - 2/17/2009 Nothing today... Some days I am really searching, obviously I found nothing remotely exciting to take a picture of.. :)

Day 49 - 2/18/2009 Love listening to this girl play the piano. So relaxing.


Day 50 - 2/19/2009 These are our nightly "meds" we put on Cole to help keep his eczema under control. Poor kid, I really hope he outgrows this..


Day 51 - 2/20/2009 Our busy 2 year old found his sissy's fingernail polish and decided to paint his nail.. Thank goodness mommy caught him before he "painted" anything else. :)


Day 52 - 2/21/2009 This little guy absolutely loves my moms dog, Littlefoot.. He was so proud because he actually picked her up and she let him hold her for a minute..



Day 53 - 2/22/2009 Tried to take a picture of his extremely swollen eye.. Doesn't really show up.. Poor guy..


Day 54 - 2/23/2009 My cute mom took Stockton to the Jazz game, he was so dang excited because they got to sit in the lower bowl (thanks Nanc)... It was a fun date night for the 2 of them.


Day 55 - 2/24/2009 The black eye, getting blacker.


Day 56 - 2/25/2009 We are really working with Cole to help him learn his sight words. I think parenting has its easy things and its hard things, and teaching a child to read is definitely one of the hardest things...Who knew learning the word "the" would prove to be so challenging.. Troy's sweet cousin gave me some awesome pointers to help me out, I hope I survive it!!!


Day 57 - 2/26/2009 The sign at the Dentists office where Court got her braces off. Too cute..


Day 58 - 2/27/2009 Jaden was so sad to see Nancy leave, he just sobbed and clung to her.. He wanted nothing to do with Troy or I, just wanted his "Nanny"...



Day 59 - 2/28/2009 What I would do to have eyelashes like that... :)


Day 60 - 3/1/2009 She is so dang happy to have her braces off.. :)
