4/14/2012 - How you feel today... Today I am so happy for my mom... She retired yesterday and I can see how happy that has made her. No more stress of high schoolish workers.. Free to do as she chooses.... HAPPY!!!

Easter/St. George/Sun/Fun....

This year for Spring Break we decided to head back to St. George again.. We had so much fun last year we wanted to do it again... We decided to dye our eggs Wednesday night before we left.. That is always fun, Cole lives for this day. This is the first year Jaden actually really loved it too. Thursday we left around noon and our trip started... Thursday was pretty low key, a little swimming and then off to dinner with the Broughs and the Reeves.. 20 people for dinner, yes please.. SO fun!! Friday we went to Snow Canyon, did some hiking and played in the sand dunes.. Friday night we met up with Mathesons for dinner. Then back to the hotel for some swimming.. Saturday was a manicure and pedicure for the girls.. Then swimming and a barbecue poolside.. That night we went to the Pasta Factory and walked through the St. George temple grounds.. So beautiful. Sunday was Easter, we headed to Vegas.. We took a tour of Rick's Restorations (show on TV) and went to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop (another show on TV.) We also toured the strip a little bit. We ate at BJ's, which was absolutely amazing.. Headed back to our hotel for some more swimming.. Monday we swam, packed up and headed home.. Thanks everyone for a great mini vacay.. It was so nice to spend the time with my kids and Troy. He has been insanely busy and we rarely see him, so that was the best part of the trip!!
